The Dutch Rose Quilt Shop
The shop has grown to carry approximately 2,500 bolts of 100% cotton quilt shop fabric. When you come in to our shop, you will find a little bit of everything. We carry lines from Moda, Maywood Studio, Benartex, Windham Fabrics, Marcus Brothers, Henry Glass, Red Rooster, Rowan, Westminster, Hoffman, Island Batik, Robert Kaufman, Galaxy. We have many kits and samples throughout the store. We offer a variety of classes so please send us an email to sign up for our newsletter or sign our book when you visit the shop to keep up to date. It is our desire is to continue to teach and promote the art of quilting that so many of us love to do. Thank you for visiting us!

Get Out and Stitch! Hand Applique Club
Thursday, Sept 23rd 1-3pm
Are you looking for a couple of hours out of the house? Do you like to do handwork and meet other women? We are starting a hand applique club here the 4th Thursday afternoon of every month from from 1-3pm. You can bring your own project or choose to do one of the Block of the Month patterns we have here. Tina will be here to help with technique or questions. Space is limited so be sure to sign up early. Cost is $5.
First Fat Quarter Friday
Sept 3rd
On the 1st Friday of the month, buy 1 Fat Quarter at regular price of $2.50 and get the 2nd Fat Quarter for only a Quarter!
Winter Storm Policy
Anytime
During inclement weather, we will follow the Sioux Falls School District for opening/closing the shop during Winter Storms. If the weather turns bad after school is out for the day, please call ahead to make sure we are still open. 605.362.1650. This is just a guideline and we will be using our best judgement on when to have the shop open during storms. Thank you so much!
1 Million Pillowcase Challenge
All Year
We are taking Pillowcase Donations ALL YEAR LONG for this challenge started by American Patchwork and Quilting! Our shop goal is to be able to donate 200 this year. Your help is needed!! Use your own fabrics or purchase a kit or two here. We have several styles to choose from. Pillowcases will stay here in Sioux Falls and be donated to the Avera Cancer Institute, the Downtown Clinic and Pediatric Ward at Avera Hospital and the VA Hospital. Thank you for your support!
