Can I purchase an item through PlanetQuilt.com?
No, PlanetQuilt.com is a classified only site. As much as we would like to handle transactions for shops the logistics and cost are far to great. We aim to provide shop owners with an outlet to congregate and list items they are willing to sell in one place. Think of it as an online marketplace. We run the market, but not the merchants within it. Although we can't actually help you purchase the item, we can provide you with all the nessasary contact information to do so.
Do I need to be signed up to browse the site?
No, anyone can browse and submit inquires of items on the site. You only need to sign up if you want to list something yourself.
What is the difference between a free & shop account?
A free account is for the individual quilter. This allows them to list a very small number of classified items. No profile page.
A shop account allow for an unlimited number of classifieds, news events and information. Post some pictures of your store list events you'll be attending and the hours you're open. Users can generate a map via google that will take them right to your door.
Can I upgrade my account?
Absolutely. Within your user profile is a button that will take you to a form specifically for that cause.
I can't remember my password, how do I retreive it?
Within the login screen there is a button to help you reset your password if you have forgotten it. Click Here to visit the login screen.
What is the 'Feedback' button in the upper left hand corner for and why doesn't it ever go away?
The feeback button is there for you the users of Planet Quilt. Through the feedback button you can submit suggestions about usability, request new features, report bugs or problems, or just give general feedback of the experience you have had with planetquilt.com.
